One fellow I know from this list who currently lives here in Truro, NS had opened for Stepenwolf in the past. THE ELLIOTTS: A musical family from Nova Scotia. The family released an instrumental CD in 2003, and as a result received an ECMA 2004 nomination for Instrumental Album of the Year.
